Solar Power to Create Thousands of Jobs

We didn’t think we could get even more excited about solar until we read this article by Courier Mail. According to the article, “the photovoltaic industry employed more than 13,000 people, significantly more than the number of people employed by coal-fired power stations in Australia.” Another 8,000 jobs is further predicted to be created by the solar industry by 2018.

It’s a warming sign (pardon the pun) to see that more and more businesses and homes are seeing solar power as a valid source of energy. It’s great to know that solar is not only helping the environment – it’s also creating jobs.

As a 100% Australian-owned solar company, we pride ourselves in creating jobs, helping our customers save money and contributing to the reduction in greenhouse gases.
